In the first days after the operation, there may be swelling and pain, which disappear within a few days. The patient must wear a special shaping bra for several weeks, which helps the breasts heal and stabilize. Usually, the full effects of the procedure can be assessed after 3-6 months, when the breasts have achieved their final shape and stabilization.
